All the new models from Brother are built up with the same strong metal construction. This means that plastic consumption has been reduced by as much as 46% on the new DS120x. This is done in order to strengthen the construction so that one gets a more stable and powerful machine. To be exact, the new structure means brother guarantees perfect sewing through up to 9 layers of fabric (9 mm). In addition to the obvious advantages of the machine's construction, which emphasizes innovation, stability and quality, you get a larger working surface with the new DS120x. The work surface expands from 14.6 cm to 15.8 cm. (distance from the needle to the edge of the right inside of the machine).
Creative sewing projects with precision:
The machine offers 20 different stitches, including overlock stitches and has adjustable stitch length and width. On the machine display, you have an overview of all the selected settings. As something new about the DS120x, you can set the machine to automatically reinforce your seams at the start and finish when you release the foot pedal. In addition, it has a needle stop (lowered/raised) where you choose whether the machine should stop up or down in the fabric. Both are useful features that provide more control and flow in the work.

The fully automatic 1-step buttonhole function ensures you beautiful and consistent buttonholes. You have three types to choose from. In addition, you get presser feet for zipper, overlock, blind stitch and monogram stitching. So, there is a good opportunity for nice details and finishes.
